Social Service League (SSL)
Vikasians believe that learning cannot be an isolated event. The community service is an integral part of class XII curriculum. The SSL was established with a vision to help and train the youth for community service. Children actively participate in the various activities organized by the League. It includes organizing the Football match for class IV employees, community dinner etc. on every 15th of August.. Blanket Donation to the neighboring TUKUTOLA hamlet in winter has been in the SSL calendar. Other community services like blood donation, rain water harvesting, hut making etc. are the regular activities for class XII students. The league also organizes Primary Inter –School Cultural Fest on 26th January where kids from Govt. and aided primary schools participate and show their talents. The school also runs a free Hindi-medium Primary school “ Shishu Niketan” for kids of neighboring villages.
